Family time, held safely.
Family Time Connect arranges and supervises contact sessions between children and parents under local authority supervision — professional, consistent, and centred on the child.
How supervised contact works
Every family's circumstances are different, but the process we follow is consistent, so everyone knows what to expect.
Referral & intake
The local authority or social worker refers the family. We confirm the contact plan, frequency, and any specific conditions set by the court or care plan.
Scheduling
We arrange a venue and time that works for the child's routine, and confirm details with the parent and the allocated social worker in advance.
Supervised session & feedback
A trained contact supervisor is present throughout. A record of the session is made and shared with the social work team as agreed in the plan.
Who we work with
Our service sits between families and the professionals responsible for a child's care.
Children & young people
The child's wellbeing and routine come first in how every session is planned and supervised.
Parents & family members
Clear, consistent arrangements and a supervisor who treats every family with respect.
Social workers
Timely session records, honest observations, and a point of contact who understands the care plan.
Local authorities
A commissioned service that meets statutory contact requirements with proper record-keeping and accountability.
Safeguarding & how we protect information
Because our work involves children's personal information, protecting it is treated as a safeguarding matter, not just an IT one.
-
Staff access is individually controlled
Every staff account is created by our IT team, assigned to a named person, and set to the minimum level of access that person's role requires.
-
App-based authentication, at least daily
Staff confirm their identity with an authenticator app at least once every 24 hours before they can add or view case notes.
-
Tiered clearance levels
Top Management, HR, Finance and General Worker accounts each see only the information relevant to their responsibilities.
-
A record of who saw what
Access to a child's information is logged, so any concern about how a record was used can be reviewed properly.
Your rights, in brief
If we hold information about you or your child, UK data protection law gives you the right to ask what we hold, to ask us to correct it, and to raise a concern with us or the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how it's been handled.
Session records are only ever shared with the professionals named in the child's care plan — never more widely.
Get in touch
For referrals, existing cases, or general questions. If this is urgent and about a child's immediate safety, please contact the allocated social worker or local authority directly.
